Procedure number: 19789 Your application area: Own operation it@M, business area customer management (KM1), service area control, projects, consulting and service level management (SPBS), Agnes-Pockels-Bogen 21. Your tasks: KM1 is responsible for the development, maintenance, servicing and operation of IT procedures used in the District Administration Department of the City of Munich, for example in the areas of residents’ registration, elections, weapons, vehicle registration or driver’s licenses. The introduction of new procedures or the replacement of existing procedures is carried out within the framework of projects. As an IT project manager, you will be responsible for managing complex IT projects and plans in this environment. You will define, organize and plan complex IT projects, synchronize project bundles and be responsible for their management, controlling and quality assurance. In addition, you will be responsible for environment and stakeholder management as well as risk management in this context. What you need to bring with you: A successfully completed university degree at master’s level in the field of computer science or business information systems or a successfully completed university degree at masters level with many years (at least three years) of professional experience in the IT field and many years (at least three years) of professional experience in the management of complex IT projects. For the position, these competencies are particularly important: Expertise: Proficiency in common project management methodologies and tools as well as in-depth experience in customer management, stakeholder management and risk management, knowledge of IT architecture implementation in large projects (ideally across all phases of a software project), knowledge and experience of the state of the art regarding modern software architecture.
