We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced fulltime (32-40 hours) French speaking Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Ridderkerk. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our international clients in the chemical industry.


  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide customers with product information, technical specifications and pricing details
  • Process orders, quotes, and returns accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with sales, logistics and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues by providing effective solutions and escalating when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our database
  • Participate in training sessions and stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends


  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Customer Service role, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Experience with the O2C cycle and INCOTERMS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience SAP is a plus


  • Salary between €3000 and €3500 euros per month, based on previous experience
