O.P. Welder
The OP Welder is an automatic welder responsible for welding round or longitudinal seams with one or more welding heads at the same time, high accuracy and low rejection rate. It concerns automatic welding and monitors the quality and output.
The work is carried out on the basis of welding procedures and regulations, planning, drawings, route maps and work instructions. It concerns welds that are subject to non-destructive testing (NDT/NDT).
As OP Welder you maintain contact with the Welding Process Specialist and report to the Hall coordinator.
Employee duties
– Follow welding procedures and regulations.
– Execute technical drawings and work instructions.
– Checks the condition of the welding equipment and is able to replace standard parts.
– Performs daily maintenance work according to maintenance card.
– Checks the number of materials present and visually for damage and signals deviations to the Hall Coordinator.
– Ensures personal protective equipment and takes precautions if necessary.
– Informs and escalates if necessary to the Hall Coordinator and the Welding Process Specialist.
– Set up welding equipment and welding robot according to welding procedure and weld all seam shapes in PA position.
– Operates lifting equipment (such as overhead cranes) if necessary.
– Registers work performed on the route cards of the workpiece.
– Ensures a safe and tidy working environment.

Wat wij vragen
– VCA Basic passed in Dutch, English or German – mandatory
– Welding certificate and associated welding experience – NIL Niv. 2 MIG/MAG (or equivalent)
– Experience in metal required.
– Driving License B
– Language skills in Dutch, English or German
