WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR In the Databases, Software Quality functional area of the Data Processing department at our head office in Kassel, we are looking to fill the position of SPECIALIST FOR DATABASE-RELATED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT (m/f/d) to be filled. Your tasks: The main focus of your work will be on development in Oracle PL/SQL and supporting the software developers (m/f/d) from a database perspective. Your range of tasks includes the Database-related software development with Oracle PL/SQL Consulting the software developers (m/f/d) in the development of data models, functions and triggers, as well as in analyzing the performance (Oracle) and thus the efficiency of the developed software Checking concepts for compatibility with the existing data model and compliance with existing specifications Data model maintenance and further development Collaboration with and management of external service providers Collaboration in projects of the State Welfare Association of Hesse, but also in cross-association projects We require: Completed studies in computer science, engineering or economics or in comparable IT-related courses of study or a comparable qualification with several years of practical application in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility We expect the following from you: Good knowledge and practical application in database-related development with PL/SQL, SQL and APEX in performance analysis and optimization in the SQL environment (focus on Oracle) in the functionality and technical structure of Oracle databases in administrative activities in connection with Oracle databases in the creation of shell scripts under Linux Ability to think and act analytically and economically Great commitment based on a strong understanding of service Very good written and spoken German skills Planning skills Cooperation and teamwork skills Communication skills and target group orientation Sense of responsibility Willingness for further education and training Mobility and flexibility to undertake business trips WHO WE ARE The LWV Hessen is supported by the Hessian districts and independent cities and enables disabled people to participate in society: It finances support for disabled and socially disadvantaged people in their everyday lives and at work.
